BC held its most recent BC PNP Draw on January 24, 2022, inviting qualified candidates for Skills Immigration and sending out almost 275 invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program. The province invited 221 applicants for the general category of the most recent BC PNP Draw. Candidates accepted to this draw had to have between 82 and 102 points.

Candidates received invitations under the BC PNP through general and targeted draws for in-demand occupations and professions, including Express Entry BC, in line with prior trends. The following categories make up the chosen candidates:

  • BC PNP Skilled Worker
  • BC PNP International Graduate
  • BC PNP Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
  • EEBC Skilled Worker
  • EEBC International Graduate
  • EEBC Entry Level and Semi-Skilled

Additionally, 31 applicants were invited by British Columbia as part of the childcare-care draw for early childhood educators (NOC TEER 42202). BC invited 18 applicants for the draw with a focus on healthcare. Less than five invitations for Other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104) have also been sent out.

In 2023, British Columbia issued 828 invitations under the British Columbia PNP streams.

BC PNP Latest Draw: General Category

BC issued 221 invitations with minimum SIRS scores between 82-102 depending on the programs. The minimum scores for the individual categories are mentioned below:

BC PNP Latest Targeted Draw

BC conduct targeted draws for candidates who meet the requirements for a few in-demand National Occupational Classifications (NOCs), such as healthcare and technology.

Targeted draws might not require as high SIRS scores compared to general draws. This week, SIRS scores of 60 were required for each targeted category. BC invited the following number of applicants to their intended draws:
